• Guidance: how to download audit data from LloydsLink

    Downloading audit data

    Step by step guide

Audit logs can only be accessed when logged in as a user with auditor profile permissions

When an auditor signs into LloydsLink they can access the ‘audit log viewer’ module. This provides you with a view of the users who have accessed a service, for example: statements or payments.

The audit log will display the date and time of access, user name, service accessed, code and description of activity.

The audit log view is configurable: depending what settings you have chosen, there may be less than a year of data.

LloydsLink warns you when the audit log has reached its expiry. This warning appears each time an auditor logs in.

How to download audit data from LloydsLink

    1. Sign in to LloydsLink as an auditor
    2. Access the ‘audit log viewer’
    3. Select the ‘dustbin’ icon which has the label ‘tidy database’
    4. Select a file location for the archive to be saved in
    5. Select ‘all events’, then ‘yes’.

As a default, the file will be named ‘Events from xx/xxx/xx to xx/xxx/xx’ however you will be given the option to rename the file before saving it.

Once archived all entries are removed from the audit log.
