• What is TravelLink?

    TravelLink is an online foreign currency ordering tool which allows you to order Foreign Currency banknotes and in some cases Travellers Cheques to be delivered to your office.

    When you move to Commercial Banking Online you'll notice a few differences compared with LloydsLink Online.

    What’s changed?

    Take a look at the key differences in the table below.

    £2,000 Sterling limit The limit existed but did not always apply. The limit will always apply.
    Dual Approval Users can create and approve their own orders. Users can create and approve their own orders.
    Billing cycle Billing is made at the time of the order. Billing is made at the end of the month (or at the end of the billing cycle).
    Order approval Orders are approved with a password. Orders are approved with a card, card reader and PIN.
    Login Login with a password. Login with card, card reader and PIN.
    Order screen Sterling orders are made on a different screen. Sterling and currency orders are made on the same screen.
    Delivery addresses Delivery addresses are shown at the start of the order. Delivery addresses are shown later in the order.

    The exchange rate given by Commercial Banking Online TravelLink at the point of placing the order is the exchange rate that you will receive.

    What do I need to do?

    Before your Commercial Banking Online access is live

    • Future dated orders - if you have set up future dated orders via Lloydslink Online that are dated to be actioned after your Commercial Banking Online TravelLink service goes live, you will need to cancel them and set them up once you can use Commercial Banking Online TravelLink.

    After your Commercial Banking Online access is live

    • If you have users who did not use Lloydslink Online TravelLink and need to use Commercial Banking Online TravelLink, you will need to assign them to a TravelLink role. The link below provides guidance on how to do this.

    TravelLink Roles

    • Add any new addresses - all addresses registered on LloydsLink Online TravelLink will be transferred but if you want to add new ones an amendment form will require to be completed, please speak to your Client Manager for support.
