• Guidance: importing payments to Commercial Banking Online

    Importing payment files

Importing payments to Commercial Banking Online will differ from importing payments in your existing online banking channel in the following ways:

    • The file layout has changed and you will need to edit your payment import files or you will not be able to import payments on Commercial Banking Online.
    • Field validation rules have changed in Commercial Banking Online and you will need to make changes to your existing payment import files.
    • There are additional mandatory fields on payment import files and some existing mandatory fields are no longer required.
    • Payments can be imported as individual payments or as a file containing multiple payments. Single payments will be shown individually but files will be shown as one entry.
    • You can mix payment types within a file, including inter-account transfers (except Bacs multiple) on Commercial Banking Online.
