    What happens if I miss the deadline?

    If you do not have a computer that matches the requirements listed on this page, you will not be able to access Commercial Banking Online.

    What you need to do

    • Use our compatibility tool to check every computer you intend to use to access Commercial Banking Online meets the minimum standards

    Commercial Banking Online runs on more up to date software than your existing online banking. In order to check you will be able to run Commercial Banking Online, your computer will have to meet the following criteria.

    Internet browser and operating system combinations

    If the operating system on your computer predates Windows XP, you may need to update it before moving over to Commercial Banking Online. If you have Windows 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000 or an earlier version, you may need to be update your operating system to be sure Commercial Banking Online will work with your computer.

    You must have one of the following combinations of operating systems and internet browser:

      Windows 7 Professional with any of the following:
    • Internet Explorer 8 or higher
    • Mozilla Firefox v23 or higher
    • Google Chrome v29 or higher.
      Windows 8 Professional with any of the following:
    • Internet Explorer 11 or higher
    • Mozilla Firefox v28 or higher
    • Google Chrome v35 or higher.
      Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 with any of the following:
    • Safari 5
    • Mozilla Firefox v23 or higher
    • Google Chrome v29 or higher.

    You can download the latest versions of the browsers from the links listed below.

    Internet Explorer, available for Windows.
    Mozilla Firefox, available for Windows and Mac.
    Safari, available for Mac.
    Google Chrome, available for Windows and Mac.

    JavaScript

    JavaScript will need to be turned on for any Internet browsers you will use to access Commercial Banking Online. You can find out if you already have JavaScript turned on by using our tool.

    How to check your computer is compatible:

    2.Scroll down to the bottom of the page
    3.Click the ‘Click here to check for system compatibility’ link.

    How you turn JavaScript on, depends on which browser you use. There is usually an option in the 'profile' or 'settings' menu.

    Screen Resolution

    You need to have a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels to 2880 x 1800 pixels to use Commercial Banking Online.

    When is the deadline?

    Please do this as soon as possible. You may need to update your computer software before you can access Commercial Banking Online. Please allow enough time to make any hardware or software updates before you move to Commercial Banking Online.
