I want to modify a beneficiary

  • For your security, we recommend that separate approval by another user of changes to the beneficiary record is required, and regular checks that no unauthorised changes have been made.

    1. Either select Payments > Beneficiary library or click Beneficiary library on the Payment Management screen to display the Beneficiary Library screen.
    2. Click Down button in the beneficiary’s row and select Modify from the pop-up menu displayed.

      Alternatively, double click on the beneficiary’s row to display its details, and then click Modify at the bottom of the screen.
    3. Edit the beneficiary’s details, as required. Please check the sort code and account number are correct before proceeding.
    4. When you’ve made all your changes, click Save to save the beneficiary.
      You can also modify a beneficiary while entering the details of a new payment or a payment template. 
    5. Making an amendment in the beneficiary library will not change details for the beneficiary on any payment templates which contain the beneficiary.
    6. When beneficiary details are amended in a template there is an option to update the beneficiary library record by selecting update radio button – If this option is not selected the beneficiary library will not update
    7. If a beneficiary record in the library is deleted, and the record exists on any templates then there will be a warning that the record is contained in one or more templates
