I want to delete a Role

  • Before deleting a Role, ensure that any users who have the Role assigned to them are assigned an alternative Role appropriate to the payments and cash management tasks they need to perform in Commercial Banking Online. You can delete Roles with an Entered, Modified or Approved status. Please note it is possible to delete Roles that have users attached to them. This will take effect the next time users with this Role log in.

    1. On your Administration page, select Manage roles to display your organisation existing Roles.

    2. To delete multiple Roles at the same time, tick the ones you want to delete in the Roles list and click Delete.

To delete a single Role, you can also click Down arrow in the Role’s row and select Delete from the pop-up menu displayed.

You can review the details of a Role before deciding whether to delete it by clicking on the Role’s row. Once you’ve reviewed the Role, click Delete to delete the Role or Cancel to return to the Role Maintenance screen.
    3. A message is displayed asking if you’re sure you want to delete the Role. Click Yes.
    4. A message is displayed to confirm the deletion. Click Close to close the message.
