Our Healthcare Confidence Index is based on the outlook of GPs, dentists and pharmacists for the future of their businesses and the sector, and is designed to provide a measure of overall confidence within primary healthcare.
The findings for the first Index were collected in early 2011, which determined an initial confidence figure that we can now benchmark against.
The results from the latest survey are now in, and reveal that due to funding changes and evolving patient needs, the overall confidence figure has declined for the first time since the Index began (-22 in 2015; -31 in 2016).
