We enter 2015 with wind in our sails as optimism, growth and momentum build in the UK.
However, the future direction for growth is hard to predict in a landscape of heightened geo-political tensions, global economic divergence, rapidly changing technology, increasing security risks, developing threats such as cyber-crime and divergent trends in globalisation versus localisation. Boardrooms are balancing complex demands while navigating regulation, digitisation, a war for talent and liquidity concerns.
On Thursday, 5 February, 2015, at the London Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking in partnership with UKTI hosted the third annual Business Leaders Summit, bringing together two hundred of the nation's business leaders. We invited them to examine, and debate the key issues that affect their ability to grow and to help Britain prosper globally.
Business Leaders Summit Summary
We invite you to read, download and share our Business Leaders Summit White Paper, which captures the key themes and memorable comments made by our distinguished speakers and panellists. Despite broad optimism around the UK’s growth prospects in the year ahead, we heard strong concerns around a range of areas including access to skills and talent and navigating today’s unprecedented geo-political uncertainty. We hope you will find the content valuable and look forward to welcoming you to our fourth annual Business Leaders Summit in Q1 2016.
