Using an example payment import file

Please click here to find out how to use an example payment import file.

What is an example payment import file?

An example file contains sample data for a range of payment import files that are compatible with Commercial Banking Online. You can use the file(s):

    a) to compare the new file with your existing payment import file and see what changes you need to make.
    b) as a template to update your payment import files for use on Commercial Banking Online.

How do you know if you need to use an example file?

If you currently import payments we recommend you review the example file(s) for each type of payment you currently import. This will help you check what changes you need to make to your current payment import files.

How do you know which example file to use?

We have provided example files for each payment type and file type that is available on Commercial Banking Online. We have also provided an example containing multiple payment types in a single file.
