    Exporting data

    On Commercial Banking Online, you can export data to use with your local accounting software using these types of file: CSV, BAI, SWIFT MT-940.

    The data export on the new platform will look different to what you use now.

    You may need to make changes to your local reconciliation processes to avoid any problems when you move to the new platform.

    Below you can see what’s changed on Commercial Banking Online.

    Statement Report

    The Statement Report on the new platform is in a different format to your current platform. But the content of the reports is similar.

    Column order and format

    Export files on the new platform have a different column order and in some cases the format of the content will change. The guides below show you how these have changed.

    Transaction narratives

    Transaction narratives, codes and identifiers will be different. You’ll see what has changed for each format in the guides below.

    Running reports

    On the new platform statements are known as reports. There is a new way to export data, explained in the video above.

    Other file formats

    Lotus, Quattro & Excel won’t be available in the new platform. You should use the CSV export on Commercial Banking Online instead. APACS will be available later in 2018.

    What you need to do

    You may need to make some changes to your local software package or processes when you start using Commercial Banking Online.
