Log on for the first time

  • Welcome to Commercial Banking Online

  • Before you can start using Commercial Banking Online, you will need to activate your user account.

    How you activate your account will depend on whether you are a Primary Administrator or another type of user.

    For Primary Administrators

    To activate your Commercial Banking Online user account follow these steps:

    1. Make sure you have the welcome and activation communications we sent you.
    2. Click on the Primary Administrators - activate account button below.
    3. Enter your email address, client ID and activation code.
    4. Create your username and password.
    5. Create your Telephony PIN.
    6. Call us on 0808 202 1390 (+44 1264 839 415 from a mobile or outside the UK), 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays, and select option 1 to activate your Commercial Banking Online account. Please have your Client Id and new Telephony PIN ready when you call so we can verify your identity. Once confirmed, we will complete your account activation.
    7. Once the Help Desk has confirmed your online user account has been activated you can log into Commercial Banking Online.

    Primary Administrators - activate account

     

    For all other users

    To activate your Commercial Banking Online user account follow these steps:

    1. Make sure you have your:
      • security device and security PIN
      • activation communication we sent you with the activation code
      • username your Administrator created for you.
       
    2. Click on the All other users - activate account button below.
    3. Enter your username and in the password field enter your activation code
    4. Create your password.
    5. Create your Telephony PIN.
    6. Your Administrator will contact you to confirm you have completed these activation steps yourself. Once confirmed, they will complete your user account activation so you can log in to Commercial Banking Online.
