What are the available information reporting reports?

  • If you have an appropriate payments and cash management Role, you can create Information Reporting Reports that allow you to monitor your organisation’s account activity in Commercial Banking Online.

The Information Reporting Reports are split into four subgroups: Current Day, Transaction, Historic and Archive.

    • To view account activity for today’s date, create a Current Day version of these reports.
    • To view account transactions, create a Transaction report.
    • To view account activity less than 13 months old, create a Historic version of these reports.
    • To view account activity that is more than 13 months old but less than five years old, create an Archive version of these reports.
    • To view account activity that’s more than five years old, please call the Commercial Banking Online Helpdesk. Please have your Telephony PIN ready when you call.

The full range of available Information Reporting Reports is set out below.

Running Balance Report (Today - 13 months )

The Running Balance Report gives you an account statement for one or multiple accounts, containing the start of report ledger balance and end of report ledger balance, as well as all transactions and a running balance of these.

The report will start with a “closing ledger balance as at date x” this is your opening balance for date x+1. To receive a statement for the 1st of the month to the last day in the month, filter the Date Range to: Actual Date: “1st of the month” to “31st of the month”, or Date Description as “start of last month” to “end of last month” Commercial Banking Online will automatically pre-set the “closing ledger balance as at” to the day prior to the date set in the filter option to ensure that you get all transactions for your set date range.

There are no other filter options on this report, apart from date, and account number or account group. The Running Balance Report can be printed or exported. To export we recommend using the "Excel Workbook Data-only" option. If you use the report regularly for the same date parameters, these can be saved using date descriptions and the report will automatically refresh itself when you click on to it; i.e. if you save for “start of last month” to “end of last month” when a new month starts the report will give you all of last month’s data
