What are the cut- off times for Payment and File Imports

  • The cut-time for submitting a Payment or File Import is 17:00.

If you are submitting an import before this time you will need to make sure that the cut-off time for that payment type hasn’t already passed. If the cut-off time for the payment type has passed then it will have the status of Bank Rejected in the Payment Management screen.

Any import submitted after 17:00 will appear in the Payment Management screen with an Entered status, but you will be unable to approve it even if the cut-off time for that payment type hasn’t passed.

To ensure your payment is submitted through Imports we recommend:

    • Ensure the individual entries have the same cut- off time by:
      • Using a single payment type in the Import File
      • Using only one currency when importing a file with International payments

    • Import and Approve the file before the cut-off time of the Payment type or the cut-off time for the currency
    • If you are importing Faster Payments import and approve the file before 17:00.
