I want to reject a workflow item

  • A workflow item is automatically created whenever an administrative action is taken and any workflow items you need to approve, amend, reject or cancel are displayed as rows in the Workflow section of your Administration page.

You can only reject workflow items with a Pending  status or a Pending second approval status. You can review the details of a workflow item before deciding whether to reject it by double clicking on the item’s row to display its details. Click the workflow item ID to return to the search results screen.

If you can’t see a specific workflow item on which you want to take action, you can perform a search to find the item.

    1. Click Actions in the item’s row, or from the items’ details screen, and select Reject .
    2. The Reject this workflow item screen is displayed. Click Reject.
      Reject a workflow item
If you decide not to proceed with the rejection, click Small x (close) to return to the Workflow screen.
    3. A message is displayed, confirming that the item’s status has changed.
      If you want to:
      • return to your Commercial Banking Online homepage, click Return to your homepage
      • take action on another workflow item, click Close to return to the Workflow screen.
The workflow item’s status will change to Rejected.
A workflow item will be automatically Rejected if no action is taken on it within 30 days.
