I want to perform a basic workflow item search

  • If you have dual administration set up in Commercial Banking Online, every administrative action taken by a Primary Administrator must be approved by another Primary Administrator. Every administrative action taken by an Administrator must be approved by a Primary Administrator or another Administrator. Actions taken by users who do not have an administrative role must be approved by two Administrators.

    If you have single administration set up in Commercial Banking Online, actions taken by users who do not have an administrative role must be approved by an Administrator. 

    Some actions created by the Bank will also create a Workflow item that will need to be approved by a Primary Administrator.

    Users who do not have an administrative role cannot view the Workflow screen. They can view their workflow items (generated by themselves or Administrators on their behalf) via the Your workflow items link in the Commercial Banking Online Header.

    A workflow item is automatically created whenever an administrative action is taken and any workflow items you need to approve, amend, reject or cancel are displayed as rows in the Workflow section of your Administration page. If you can’t see those workflow items on which you want to take action, you can find them by performing a search.

    1. On your Administration page, click Search workflow to display the Search screen.Basic search
    2. Enter or select the basic search terms you want to use or click Advanced search to perform an advanced search.
      • Workflow item ID. Enter the unique ID of the workflow item you’re looking for, if you know it.
        If you’re unsure of the exact ID or want to search for items with similar IDs, try a wildcard search.
      • Date workflow submitted. Select the earliest and latest dates when the workflow item could have been submitted for action by clicking Calendar icon and selecting the dates required.
      • The From and to dates should be less than or equal to today’s date. The to date must be equal to or greater than the From date.
      • User action group. Select the name of the user action group who can take action on the items you are looking for.
      • Workflow item status. Select the current status of the workflow item in Commercial Banking Online.
        
    3. When you’re ready, click Search to display the search results.
      Everything that matches the search terms you entered will be displayed in the Search results
      If nothing matches the search terms you entered or you can’t see what you want in the search results, click Search again to try another search. Try entering fewer search terms to get more search results.
