Administrator Role

  • This role should only be modified if your Commercial Banking Online site is operating Administrative Groups (parent-child) if your site does not have this functionality this role is redundant as it has been pre-assigned to all administrators by the Bank

     

     When copying and modifying the Administrator Role you should:

    • Ensure it meets the requirements of your organisation.
    • Control the Role’s entitlements to Create, Copy, Modify, Approve, Delete, Restore and View Roles by setting the Role’s entitlements in the Admin tab. Click Arrow icon(1)  next to Roles to expand the Roles section. You grant access to the entitlements by ticking the appropriate box. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.


    • Control whether the Role is entitled to assign accounts in the child-parent structure of your organisation by setting the Role’s entitlements in the Admin tab. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Assign Accounts to expand the Assign Accounts section. Tick the box next to Modify to grant the Role the entitlement to assign accounts in the child-parent structure of your organisation. 


    • Control the Role’s entitlements to Add, Delete and View Email Recipient Group Assignments and to Add, Modify, Delete and View Email Recipients by setting the Role’s entitlements in the Admin tab.
      1. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Setup to expand the Setup section.  
      2. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Email Setup to expand the Email Setup section.  
      3. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Email Recipient Group Assignments to display the Email Recipient Group Assignments section. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.  
      4. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Email Recipients to display the Email Recipients section. 
      5. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.  


       
    • Control the Role’s entitlements to Modify, Approve and View panel approver types and Create, Modify, Approve, Delete and View panel profiles and Create, Modify, Approve, Delete and View panel profile assignments by setting the Role’s entitlements in the Admin tab (only for organisations that use panels payment approval).
      1. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Setup to expand the Setup section. 
      2. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Panel Approval Maintenance to expand the Panel Approval Maintenance section.
      3. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Panel Approver Types to display the Panel Approver Types section. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.  
      4. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Panel Profile to display the Panel Profile section. 
      5. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.   
      6. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Panel Profile Assignments to display the Panel Profile Assignments section. 
      7. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.  


    • Control the Role’s entitlements to Create, Modify, Approve, Delete and View records in the Beneficiary Library by setting the Role’s entitlements in the Admin tab.
      1. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Setup to display the Setup section. 
      2. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Beneficiary Library then click Arrow icon(1) next to Beneficiary Library again to display the Beneficiary Library section. 
      3. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.  


       
    • Control the Role’s entitlements to rename bank accounts and View and Modify bank accounts’ client settings by setting the Role’s entitlements in the Admin tab.
      1. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Setup to display the Setup section.
      2. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Maintain Preferences to display the Maintain Preferences section. 
      3. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Rename Account to display the Rename Account section. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.  
      4. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Alternative Currency Settings to display the Alternative Currency Settings section. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.  
      5. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Alternative Payment Settings to display the Alternative Payment Settings section. Tick the boxes next to the entitlements you want to grant access to.  


      6. In order to rename a bank account or change a bank account’s settings a Role must have the correct Data Permissions. Control the accounts and the Role has access to by setting the Data Permissions in the Information Reporting tab.  


      7. If the Role should have access to all accounts, select All. You can choose the accounts that the Role has access to by using Select which will open a new window.

      8. Tick the box next to the accounts you want to grant access to and click Select to move it to the Selected Accounts box. You can remove a selected account by ticking the box next to it and clicking Deselect.
       
    • Control the admin reports the Role can create by setting the Role’s entitlements in the Admin tab. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Reports to expand the Reports section then tick the boxes next to the reports you want to grant access to.



    • Control whether the Role can create Role Maintenance Alerts and Beneficiary Library Maintenance alerts by setting the Role’s entitlements in the Admin tab. Click Arrow icon(1) next to Alerts to expand the Alerts section then tick the boxes next to the alerts you want to grant access to.
