What are Data Permissions and Entitlements?

  • You can control the level of access and tasks that a Role can perform in the Role Maintenance screen. Either edit an existing Role or create a new  Role to set the Data Permissions and Entitlements.

     

    Data Permissions and Entitlements are grouped by tab:

    • Payments: this tab provides all the Entitlements around payment creation, management and payment reporting;including what accounts payments can be made from as well as what payment types the Role user has the authority to create and / or approve. Restrictions can also be applied here to ensure only Beneficiaries from the Beneficiary Library can be used for payments which include payments from templates and imports.
    • Information Reporting: this tab provides all the Entitlements around accounts and balances management and reporting; including what accounts the Role user can view the statements, balances and reports for.
    • Admin: this tab provides all the Entitlements around Administration functions in Commercial Banking Online including access to the Beneficiary Library.
    • Utilities: this tab provides all the entitlements around the detailed import mapper.

    To select all the Entitlements in a tab, tick All next to the tab’s name. Alternatively, you can select the specific Entitlements required within the tab where Entitlements are grouped by type.
