I want to rename a bank account

  • If you are a Primary Administrator and responsible for managing your organisation’s bank accounts, you can add a friendly name to your organisation’s bank accounts so that those users who are entitled to see those accounts as part of their payments and cash management roles can more easily identify them. Once the amends have been saved the friendly names will be visible automatically to users who have access to the accounts.

    1. On your Administration page, select Bank Account Settings > Rename bank account to display the Rename Bank Account screen.

    2. Click Down arrow in the bank account’s row and select Modify from the pop-up menu displayed. A screen is now displayed, showing the summary details of the selected bank account.

    3. Edit the account name to the name you want to use for the account in Commercial Banking Online.A friendly name can contain up to 39 characters.
    4. Click Save. A message confirming that the changes have been saved is displayed.
    5. Click Small x (close) to return to the Rename Bank Account screen.
